Pre-application community consultation
This pre-application community consultation relates to Queen’s University Belfast’s proposed development of a purpose-built, managed student accommodation scheme comprising circa 475 units with communal facilities, internal and external communal amenity space and ancillary accommodation at 14 Dublin Road, Belfast, BT2 7HN.
We are providing information about the proposal and inviting feedback before any planning application is submitted to the planning authority.
Your views on the proposal are very much welcomed and we would encourage everyone to read the project information included below, and share any feedback you have with us. To be considered during the design process, feedback must be received by no later than midnight on Monday 16th October 2023.
Please note: his pre-application community consultation is being held in conjunction with consultation on Grade A office proposals by Kainos Software Ltd. Whilst the developments will be subject to separate planning applications, given their proximity (both are located at 14 Dublin Road, Belfast), similar timescales and relationship in design terms, the consultation for both projects is being done in a coordinated way. This is to provide members of the public the opportunity to provide timely feedback on each projects.

PLEASE NOTE: The pre-application community consultation period for Queen’s University Belfast’s proposed purpose-built, managed student accommodation at 14 Dublin Road, Belfast, BT2 7HN has now closed.
A full planning application for the project has been submitted to Belfast City Council for consideration and can be viewed online using the council’s planning portal.
